Eldership of GV:

“Hello, I’m Roger Crim. I’ve been an elder for around 14 years at Green Valley. We’ve been members here since 1989. We had a 3 year excursion in Brasov, Romania where we helped build the church there. I’ve been in the antiques business for almost 20 years and now own Main Street Shoppes in Westfield. As a sideline business I restore pioneer cemeteries. I’m originally from Western Colorado and still miss the mountains! Hiking and skiing are my favorite hobbies, but don’t get to do them very often. I can be available if you ever want to study the Bible or even just talk about life, give me a call at 317-709-5928.”

“Hi, I’m Jim Dillinger. I’ve been a minister at GV for 30+ years, but am semi-retired from the pulpit. I love the family atmosphere at Green Valley. Most of my focus is in the mission field with Malawi International Bible Institute. I’d love to tell you more about that! I have lots of grandchildren and all three of my children are involved in ministry at different churches across the country. Also, I enjoy spending time leading a life group and occasionally preaching on a Sunday morning. I always enjoy having a good conversation over a meal at Jim Dandy. If you ever want to have lunch, call my cell at 317-371-1636″

“I’m Murry Dixon. I have served as an elder at GV for about 7 years. I was born in Nigeria (Africa), where my parents were serving as missionaries, and was blessed to be raised in a godly & faithful family. I grew up on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Our family attended the Southeastern Church of Christ, where I met my wife, Kim. We were married there in 1987, and are still enjoying our journey together…which includes four children (two of whom are grown and married), and four grandchildren. “Family” — there’s nothing quite like it, and that concept permeates my own thinking about what it means to be “church”. After going away to school and serving a 4-year enlistment in the US Coast Guard, we returned to Indiana. In 1994, our family came to GV as I started my career with the Noblesville Fire Department, where I’m a Captain. I love outdoor adventure, especially backpacking. But I’ve also been known to skip the hiking, and jump right to the campfire part…right in the back yard. So, grab a lawn chair, and come on over for a conversation! Feel free to call or text me anytime… (317) 847-8593
